End-to-end workflows

Follow an order through to its shipment

Starts when: You want to know where one of your orders stands, or a new order appears under Recent orders on the Dashboard.

  1. In the left menu, click Orders. The Operations Workspace opens on the Orders tab.
  2. Find the order in the list. Each row shows the order number, the Customer, the Requested delivery date and a status badge.
  3. Click the order number. The Selected order window shows the order status, the Customer and the Fulfilment status.
  4. Close the window and open the Shipments tab. Shipment Execution lists the shipments of your account with their carrier, ETA and pickup date.
  5. Read the badges: Carrier pending means no carrier is assigned yet; Exception, Backorder and Return mark a shipment with an operational exception, a backorder or a return.
  6. Open the Orders & Shipments tab to see your latest orders and shipments side by side, including the tracking number once the carrier has issued it.

Result: You know the order status and fulfilment status, and the carrier, ETA and tracking number of the related shipment.

Next: The warehouse prepares and ships the order. For a delay or a discrepancy, send the order number to your Client administrator or your Customer success manager.

Review orders that need attention

Starts when: The Dashboard shows a message that one or more orders need review.

  1. On the Dashboard, read the message «N orders need review» and click Review orders.
  2. The Orders tab opens as «Orders needing attention», with the Needs attention filter active.
  3. Click each order number to open Selected order and read its status and Fulfilment status.
  4. Note the order numbers. Your account cannot release or correct these orders.
  5. Click Clear filter to return to the full order list.
  6. Back on the Dashboard, check the Shipment Watchlist: At risk in preview and Returns in preview count the recent shipments that have an exception or are returns.

Result: You have a list of the order numbers and shipments that need action on the merchant side.

Next: Your Client administrator resolves held orders and address issues; your Customer success manager helps if a record looks wrong or is missing.

Common questions

Can I create or change an order?

No. Your account can view orders and shipments only. Ask your Client administrator to create or correct an order.

Why can I not see stock, returns or invoices?

Those sections are reserved for the merchant’s client roles. Ask your Client administrator for the figures you need.

What does Carrier pending mean?

No carrier is assigned to the shipment yet. The carrier, ETA and tracking number appear as soon as the shipment is booked.

An order or shipment is missing. What should I do?

The lists show only the records of your account. Check the account name on the Dashboard and send the order or shipment reference to your Customer success manager.
