Shareholders committee

The pack is read-only and names no individual person, customer or order.

End-to-end workflows

Review the board pack before a committee meeting

Starts when: A committee meeting is scheduled, or a reporting period has closed.

  1. Open Board pack, set the Reporting window to the period on the agenda and click Apply.
  2. Read Headline indicators: Revenue, Gross margin and Orders shipped compared with the previous period, and Overdue receivables. The Generated line shows when the figures were produced.
  3. On the Overview tab, read the Quarterly trend chart (Revenue, Direct costs and Gross margin per quarter) and the Orders shipped chart.
  4. Expand Workforce / Customer base to see Gross margin rate, On-time shipping, Top-5 revenue share and Labor cost share, the Workforce and Customer base cards, and Safety posture.
  5. Use the chart toolbar to export a chart as PNG or its data as CSV, or to enlarge it for projection.
  6. Write down the points you want to raise at the meeting.

Result: You have a complete, consistent picture of the period, with charts ready for the meeting documents.

Next: The Executive leader presents and explains the figures; send your questions to the Executive leader before or during the meeting.

Follow up the flagged issues

Starts when: The Needs attention block of the Board pack lists overdue receivables or audit findings.

  1. Under Needs attention, read Overdue receivables with the number of overdue invoices, and Audit findings with the Open critical, Open high and Overdue findings counts.
  2. Click Review finances: the Finance & cash tab shows Revenue, Direct costs and Gross margin, the Financial trend, Revenue by domain and the budget table.
  3. Click Review governance: the Governance & risk tab shows the Risk register, Audit findings, Compliance, Regulatory posture and Sustainability.
  4. In the Risk register, check the Area and the Severity (Critical, High, Medium or Low) of each open risk.
  5. When nothing is flagged, the block reads No flagged issues in this board pack.

Result: You know which financial and governance risks call for discussion, and how serious each one is.

Next: Ask the Executive leader for explanations and for the corrective actions taken by the teams concerned.

Common questions

Why can I not open individual orders, clients or employees?

The committee oversees the company rather than managing it: the Board pack shows aggregated figures only. For detail behind a figure, ask the Executive leader.

Does the pack identify people?

No. Workforce, customer-base and safety figures are aggregates; Safety posture states that no individual is identified.

A shared link shows This link has an invalid reporting period. The current quarter is shown. What does it mean?

The period in the link could not be read, so the current quarter is displayed. Set the Reporting window again and click Apply.
