Shopper

Shoppers are individuals and businesses who buy warehouse supplies from vetted sellers on the Ysend Marketplace. With a shopper account you order and pay by card, choose home delivery or a pick-up point, follow your orders, request returns and review sellers; business accounts can also request and accept quotes.

Start-up guide

  1. Open the account sign-up page and register with your email address. Client businesses create a merchant account; shoppers create a personal account.
  2. If you forget your password, choose “Forgot password”, then “Send recovery instructions”.
  3. The Sign in button opens the app in this page’s language.
  4. After you sign in, the «Ysend Marketplace» opens. Your name, and your company name for a business account, is shown at the top next to «View cart».
  5. The header holds «My Orders» and the «Account» menu with «Account & security» and «Sign out»; use the language selector at the top to choose the display language.
  6. Browse with «Search», the categories or «All products», and «Sort by» («Price: low to high», «Price: high to low», «Newest»). Each product card shows the price, the seller, the quantity «In stock» and the minimum quantity.
  7. If you registered with «I'm buying for a business», check that «Your quotes» appears at the top and «Request a quote» on the product cards; individual accounts buy at the listed price.

End-to-end workflows

Buy products and follow the order to shipment

Starts when: You need warehouse supplies and want to buy them at the listed price.

  1. On the «Ysend Marketplace», find the product with «Search», a category or «Sort by», and compare price, seller, stock and minimum quantity.
  2. Click «Add to cart»: the listing's minimum quantity is added and «Your cart» opens. When the stock is below the minimum, the button is disabled and the card shows «Unavailable».
  3. In «Your cart», check the lines and the «Total»; click «Remove» to drop a line or «← Keep shopping» to add more, then click «Proceed to checkout».
  4. On «Delivery & payment», choose an address under «Deliver to a saved address», or enter «Full name», «Address», «City», «Postal code», «Country» (a two-letter code such as FR) and, if you wish, «Phone (optional)».
  5. Under «Delivery», choose «Home delivery» or «Pick-up point». For a pick-up point, enter your postal code and select a point on the map; the shipping cost is shown and added to your total at payment.
  6. If needed, tick «Save this address for next time», and enter a code in «Promo code (optional)» and click «Apply» to see the discount and the new total.
  7. Click «Continue to payment». The order is created, the stock is reserved and the order number is shown with the card form; the order status is «Awaiting Payment».
  8. Enter your card details and click «Pay now». The order page opens with the status «Paid» and the line «Your payment is confirmed.».
  9. Follow the order in «My Orders»: it becomes «Fulfilled» once shipped, and the «Tracking» section then shows «Shipped by» with the seller and the tracking reference. The «Invoice» number appears once the invoice is issued.

Result: The order page shows the status, the product lines, the «Subtotal», «Discount», «Shipping», «VAT» and «Total», and the delivery address or pick-up point.

Next: The Platform Administrator dispatches the paid order; you follow it in «My Orders» until it is shipped.

Return an order and review the seller

Starts when: An order is paid or shipped and you want to send it back, or you want to rate the seller.

  1. Click «My Orders» and open the order with «View order #».
  2. Under «Need to return this order?», describe the reason in «Tell us why you're returning it» and click «Request a return». This is offered once the order is «Paid» or «Fulfilled».
  3. The «Return Request» panel shows the «Reference» and the «Status» «Requested», with the message «Return requested — we'll email you once it's reviewed.».
  4. After review, an approved return is refunded to your card: the return and the order both show «Refunded». A refused return shows «Rejected», and you can then send a new request from the same page.
  5. To rate a seller, open «Review» followed by the seller's name, choose a «Rating» from 1 to 5 stars, add a comment if you wish and click «Submit review».
  6. The panel then shows «Thanks for your review!» with the review reference and the number of stars.

Result: The order page shows the outcome of each return with its reference, and your review for each seller of the order.

Next: The Platform Administrator reviews the return and issues the refund; you receive an e-mail once it has been reviewed.

Request and accept a business quote

Starts when: Your business account needs a negotiated price instead of the listed price.

  1. On the «Ysend Marketplace», click «Request a quote» on the product card. The request is sent for the listing's minimum quantity and «Your quotes» opens.
  2. The new quote is listed with the product, the quantity and the status «Requested».
  3. Once the platform has priced it, the status becomes «Quoted» and the quote shows the quoted unit price, the total, the «Valid to» date and any note.
  4. Click «Accept & pay», fill in «Full name», «Address», «City», «Postal code» and «Country» under «Deliver to», then click «Accept & pay» again.
  5. On «Pay for your quote», enter your card details and click «Pay now». The order page opens with the status «Paid», and the quote shows «Accepted» with a «View order #» link.
  6. If you do not want the offer, click «Decline» while the quote is «Requested» or «Quoted»; it becomes «Declined». A quote past its «Valid to» date can no longer be accepted.

Result: The accepted quote is linked to a paid order at the quoted price, which you follow in «My Orders» like any other order.

Next: The Platform Administrator prices or declines your request; after payment the order is dispatched like a normal order.

Limits and help

As a Shopper you only see the Ysend Marketplace, your cart, the checkout, your own orders and, for a business account, your own quotes. You cannot change an order after payment, set prices, ship orders or decide on returns and refunds: dispatch, quote pricing, returns and refunds are handled by the Platform Administrator. For any question, write to contact@ysendgroup.com. To sell on the marketplace, use «Partner with us»; for warehousing, use «Find a logistics partner».

Common questions

Why does «Add to cart» take me to account creation?

Browsing needs no account, but buying does. Create your shopper account, verify your e-mail and sign in; then «Add to cart» adds the product to your cart.

Why don't I see «Request a quote» or «Your quotes»?

These options are reserved for business accounts, created by ticking «I'm buying for a business» and entering a «Company name» at registration. Individual accounts buy at the listed price.

My payment did not go through. Is my order lost?

No. The order stays in «My Orders» with the status «Awaiting Payment». Open it with «View order #» and click «Continue to payment» to try again.

Does «Paid» mean that my order has shipped?

No. «Paid» confirms your payment. The order becomes «Fulfilled» once it has shipped, and the «Tracking» section then shows the tracking reference.

Does Ysend store my card details?

No. Card details go directly to Stripe; Ysend never sees your card number.
